College History

Saraswati Science Higher Secondary School and Saraswati Degree Science College are managed by Computer Application Centre for Research & Education Trust of India (CAC), Link Road, Cuttack.

Computer Application Centre, since its inception in 1999 under the brand name of CAC, has been rendering service in area of Computer, Management and other professional education. Now CAC as an independent organization, is providing courses in computer software, Hardware, professional courses under NIELIT, Govt. of India and B.Sc. ITM course under Utkal University.

The Management of the Trust felt the need of quality education in Science in the secondary school level in the city. That is how Saraswati Junior Science College (SJSC) was planned and came in to existence 2012. With a modest beginning of just 64 seats in 2012, the institution has grown considerably. Because of the demands of thousands of satisfied students and guardians the seat strength has increased to 256 in 2021.

With the same philosophy Saraswati Degree Science College was planned and came in to existence in 2017 to provide quality and cost effective education in the field of Degree Science.
